Side A sees the rework of Lenny Sesar’s wonderful ‘Morris Park’ track given the treatment by Brazil’s electronic trio of the moment, funk carioca outfit Bonde de Role who have worked with Diplo and now signed to Domino. Lenny Sesar was seminal in the boogaloo danceable Latin soul that grew up in El Barrio of Harlem.

Side B offers up Sinden’s crazy take on La Lupe’s version of the West Side Story classic Fever with a new and vibrant energy. Sinden is a unique and forward-thinking producer and remixer, having worked with the likes of Basement Jaxx, Bugz in the Attic and Mark Ronson as well as a radio show on London’s renowned Kiss and a residency in the lengedary Fabric. As well as ‘The Click’ by the Cashmere Brothers AKA Jean-Claude Thompson from If Music. La Lupe, otherwise known as the queen of Latin Soul is best known for her energetic performance and unique raspy vocals.
