Bosco was born and grew up in Brazil. He established himself in the UK in 1979 and went on to record and tour with: Working Week, Sade, Everything But The Girl, Madness, Dream Come True, Phil Manzanera and Tim Finn, Acoustic Alchemy, Tim Garland and has recorded with Beth Orton and Claire Martin.

Bosco has his own group: Arakatuba: Brazilian Explosion and collaborated with Brazilian percussionists Dom UM and Airto Moreira
